Production Manager, Writer and Producer
Kevin was born, raised, and happily calls Sacramento, California his home. He found his passion for screenwriting fourteen years ago, which led him into film production three years later. He has made commercials, television shows, corporate videos, music videos, feature and short films in every genre and has performed multiple roles on set from director to grip.
Eric comes to KJ2 with over 15 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry. Originally a theatre actor, Eric made the jump to live event and video production during the down time between acting gigs. In 2014, he left acting all together and moved full-time into video post-production. Eric sees a lot of similarities between stage acting and video editing, and enjoys using the skills he learned in the theatre to intuit and elicit emotional responses from viewers. Eric received his B.A. from UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film, and Television.
Director of Photography
Cody is from the walnut orchards of Rio Oso, a small town thirty miles north of Sacramento, California. He is a dedicated cinematographer and lighting technician. Cody is always looking to push the limits of his own personal knowledge and performance in the craft of filmmaking.
As a production manager, as a former student athlete at Fresno State University, Blake believes our focus should be based on how well we pay attention to detail. Detailed work gives our team the capacity to be creative and it gives us room to introduce new ideas while working on a project. As a team, our composure creates a space for us to take our time in order to capture the shots that we want. We are a versatile group of filmmakers, and try to learn something new from my team on every project that we produce.
Logan Williams, a native of Sacramento, moved to L.A. in 2011 for film school and graduated in 2014. He lived there for a total of 9 years to pursue filmmaking opportunities. Logan loves the films of yesteryear because they are uninhibited and he therefore feels that much more wisdom can be ascertained from them. In looking at the films of the past, there often had to be a certain knowledge that came with “cinema” rather than the act of only watching film. Logan is also an avid lover of music and the record store is his happy place. Logan also writes and edits films in his free time and is looking to direct more narrative work.
Kevin Ulrich is a farm boy from Woodland, CA who grew up dreaming of flying with the rebel alliance. When he found out that was just a movie, he decided to pursue a career in film which is close enough.
Growing up in Sacramento, Ajani takes pride in representing her hometown through her passions and work. With a BA in Film and Digital Media from UCSC, Ajani diligently works in her field learning as much as she can. God willing, she hopes to heal the world by displaying the human narrative through film.
Terence Duffy is a commercial photographer from New York. He received his BFA degree in commercial photography from The Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Duffy has been shooting commercial ads and editorial work for clients from CNN and The Weather Channel to celebrities and athletes. Duffy began his career on movie sets as a Stillman and assisting and producing photoshoots in southern California. Duffy has called Sacramento his home for the past 20 year raising his 4 children and shooting for agencies and magazines in the national and local market.
